Ok, this year I was shooting photos at Kuopio Rock mainly on black & white format. I really like how these photos turn out to be. I expecially like to see some dirt and grain on b6w band photos. John Smith – Rock Festival 2016
John Smith Rock Festival was held for the first time ever in summer 2016 at Laukaa, middle Finland. Festival area was built to the beautiful lakeside park next to the Peurunka Spa Hotel area with its restaurants and indoor arena. It was two day festival Friday to Saturday. “Backround: young man had a dream â A dream to bring a Rocking good event for Rocking good music in the small town of Laukaa! Not a single compromise with the bands just to fill up the days. He visualized an event with the top line Rock performers that he had followed and listened. The ones that he would be ready âTo die forâ on an open air gig in the middle of Finnish summertime. Tour De Sky 2016 – Kuopio
Tour de Sky â Kuopio International Airshow June 18.-19, 2016 is the main airshow event in Finland 2016. Airshow is organized by The Finnish Aeronautical Association (FAA) in co-operation with First Event Ltd. FAAâs annual airshow is the biggest aviation event each year in Finland. Airshow is organized each year in different city / airport to cover the whole country. Local flying and skydiving clubs are traditionally also working for the show. The main airshow returns to Kuopio International Airport after nine years. Finlandâs main annual airshow is also the main annual airshow for Finnish Air Force, Army Aviation and Border Guard. Kuopio Rock Cock 2015
Kuopio Rock 2015 music festival was held once again at Kuopio City “VĂ€inölĂ€nniemi” beach area. Accept (GER) and Children Of Bodom were my favourite bands for this weekend. Saturday we had some rain showers, but people had fun regardless. I shot some photos that you can watch using links below.

Hell yeah! If I remember correctly this is tenth year for me to point & shoot photos at this event. Along the years this Music Festival has gone viral, and made some name for it self and the Finnish Music Festival scene. I’m looking forward friday and the upcoming artists and shows. Turmion KĂ€tilöt – Kotkan MeripĂ€ivĂ€t 2015
*Turmion KĂ€tilöt is a Finnish industrial metal band founded in 2003 by MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo, who until the latter’s departure, were the only studio lineup. The live line-up adds Spellgoth, Master Bates, RunQ and DQ. It was nice to see the these guys performing live once again. Show was prime as always. *Wikipedia
